I finally finished painting up my female Primaris marines. These consist of resin bits from the Kromlech (Bits of War) company. I really love the quality of these bits, the detail is excellent and the female faces are well sculpted. The only real issue I had with them is that Kromlech's stuff is on the upper end of "heroic 28mm scale". In fact I would say that these are borderline 32mm scale. They are a bit taller and thicker than GW's Primaris infantry models. When they are side by side you can clearly see a difference. However it's not so drastic that they can't be used in a 40k army. But there's no doubt that these are futuristic, super Amazonian women for sure! Link to general gallery pics: link

Very nice! Nothing wrong with recruiting the women's volleyball and/or basketball team into the military. If you look at one of the Infinity power-armor box sets (Haqqislam Janissaries), the trooper with the missile launcher is the tallest, and is female! My running comment is that she is on the regiment's volleyball team. |

Thanks! You read mind mind with regard to recruiting the tallest women from the athletic programs, lol. Exactly! That's a great way to explain it from a lore perspective. There's going to be tall people in the future both men and women, so we can assume that there will still be basketball and volleyball in the future! |

Nice conversions I am watching "The Expanse" and Season 2 has Bobbie Draper, a tough as nail Martian Marine Gunnery Sergeant – another tough woman warrior of the future! |
