I was becoming a bit burnt out by standard Kill Teams and models that are usually used for various factions.

I decided to do one that flies in the face of 40k lore and doesn't have any real impact on the actual Kill Team rules.

Figured what the heck, doesn't effect how the game functions and it's an interesting, alternative bit of immersion.

I really like the concept of female troopers in the Astra Militarum forces. I figured well, the entire universe is engaged in endless war. Would make sense that females would be employed as generic space marines right along with the men if they needed sheer numbers to hold back the forces of doom and destruction!

This Kill Team consists of female troopers made from resin bits produced by Victoria Miniatures. I love their grounded, military feel. The weapons are simplified laser rifles but the rest of their gear looks very real-world. The backpacks have a power unit at the top but it's very simple and could almost pass for some sort of sleeping bag or weather cover tarp, etc.

The halflings are the old, vintage metal GW halfling snipers from several editions back of 40k.

I'll use all of these as regular Cadian troopers or special weapons troopers from the listings in the Kill Team rulebook.

Thanks!

Yeah I agree, I love Victoria Minis. stuff. So many great options for conversions and unit building.

Sweet. From memory, should you not trim the barell end sight a bit for 40k?
