Epic got me started, I owned but never played challenger, DBA got me into ancients and spearhead was my first micro armour game played now it's blitzkrieg commander plus I have always played battletech and it's back bigger than ever with seriously good miniatures on the way

The only 6mm game I've played: Command Decision III, WW II. Played it mostly in the 90' to the early 2000's. Was/is the favored rule set in my local group. Cheers!

For World War 1 in 6mm scale, it would have to be Great War Spearhead.

Dunn-Kempf was derived from the WRG rules.

"Played" lots of scenarios in 76-77 as a member of the U.S. Army Third Corps Battle Simulation Center.

Is this a zombie thread or fully resurrected?

I played Battletech more than nearly everything else, we field mostly mechs, but eventually decided more tanks and light vehicles should be the norm. Know of a group that still fields an army that way.

Battletech is thriving as an IP like it hasn't in decades.

+1 to jeeves.

Though some will tell you it's utterly dead in England.

The BattleTech Kickstarter closed at $2,586,421. USD That puts it in top 100 most funded projects on Kickstarter ever. With late pledgers and many additional item purchases in Backerkit, it's safe to say that it pulled in over three million USD.

With 11,277 backers (before late pledgers jumped in), I'll bet there's a fair number of them in England too.

And as I prefer sticking with the older RP models rather than the scale creepy Iron WInds, I still buy mine from Ral Partha Europe from the UK.

Battletech players, we are a very loyal lot.
I'm currently revamping my forces, mixing Battletech minies with those of others. Because Japanese Corporate Mercenaries from GZG 6mm have a better look for House Kurita right now.

I think one UK backers excess product has furnished me with a number of Christmas and Birthday presents. The stash of toys for this years Birthday included the IS battle lance and the legendary mechwarriors set – all of which look very nice. Liking the new 'unseen' deigns and the plastic mechs generally.

GZG makes some very nice near future Infantry IMO …
