I know about their attack on Spain at the city of Seville but was there anything else.

In the same campaign, they fought at Lisbon, Cadiz, Algeciras, and possibly into Morocco. There were later Viking raids in 859 and 966.

Must have encountered them in Russia. The Vikings travelled all the way to Constantinople.

I dont have the reference, but I remember reading an article about raids in the Black Sea on Muslim sultanates in the Caucasus.

The Rus raided around the Caspian Sea in the 10th century. The Viking Road to Byzantium, has a chapter covering their Caspian activities.

Ha! That Longships scene reminds me of the Ladies Auxiliary Club reenacting Pearl Harbor!

They sold a lot of slaves to Islamic cities. Hard to believe there wasn't some fighting.

The story of Bjorn Ironside would make a great basis for a Viking campaign set in the Mediterranean.

I just posted a similar question about appropriate miniatures for this confrontation.

If anyone has suggestions for 28mm Muslims for the Seville campaign please let me know.

Wow, that battle is pretty cheesy…
