Just rebasing my 28mm chaps and being slightly OCD I have plenty of "named"Catholic personalities, Gustavus Adolphus (twice!) and just ordered Bernard of Sax Weimar from 1st Corps. Does anyone produce any other specific Protestant Commanders German/Danish or do I just go generic?

As I see, miniatures of Swedish characters are few. I only can offer you a slender miniature general from Horcata for maybe a slender commander like Gustav Horn, a fatter general from Perry (Cuirassier Command) for someone like Wrangel and Baner and an even fatter miniature from Warlord Games (Earl of Essex) for maybe Piccolomini. Warlords King Charles could be used for Torstenson. Leslie has his own mini from Warlord. And Prince Rupert or Tom Fairfax of the same company could be used for von Sachsen-Weimar, Stahlhanske or a similar dynamic commander. Perry and Warlord also have other more generic commanders. You might also look at TAG or Foundry miniatures. But beware: All miniatures besides Foundry will be larger than your 1st Corps miniatures.

Hope that helps a bit 🙂,

The Black Cavalier

Edit: Generally look for ECW miniatures. The Perry generals/commanders (not the cuirassiers!) are also a tiny bit smaller then the other miniatures.

I have most of those and 3 different Ruperts, 2 Essex and 2 Gustavus Adolphus! Not forgetting the lasted Warlord Banner. Avanpost also produce a nice General, who will from now on be known as Gustav Horn!

Warlord Games have just brought out a model of Lennart Torstensson being carried in a litter. Ebob used to make some separate heads (presumably based on portraits) for use with the bodies of Bicorne personality figures and some of them were the heads of Protestant commanders, but they weren't on the Ebob website last time I looked. You could always e-mail Bob Souter if you are interested.
