Some time ago I collected a 17th Century Polish commonwealth army in 28mm with a view to trying WECW using The Deluge supplement. Being the sensible chap I am, I backed the wrong horse and never got to use the figures. I am intrigued if anyone in London, England plays this period in 28mm and what rules they use. Is it FOG:R, Pike and Shotte or Baroque, or something else |

My friend and I use De Bellis Renationis for all of our Renaissance gaming, including Eastern European and ECW. |

Apologies, more of an ECW man myself., this may or may not help you… Try looking for 'By Fire and Sword'. which was specifically written for the C17th wars of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth. (okay written for 15mm, but I'm sure you can gloss over that bit) No idea if they are any good |

I have seen the By Fore and Sword rules/ I had a brief run though at SALUTE about 4 years ago. they seemed fun. I'm reluctant to splash the cash on a pricey rulebook unless there is a realistic prospect of actually getting in a game with them though |

I've got a lot of Poles in 28mm for the 1600's and fight my friends Swedes Army, Muslims and Cossacks. We use and are really happy with Pikeman's Lament for rules. |
