I've been looking to take the leap into WW1 gaming for sometime and I held off because I assumed that 100th Anniversary of WW1 in 2014 there would be an explosion in new miniatures and games. I opted for 28mm because I already do WW2 and Napoleonic in 15mm and I really just like the look of the uniforms painted up in 28mm. Thus far purchased German, British, and Belgian. Question for those in the know…Is there any new releases coming from Great War minis? Russians? Austro-Hungarians? I'm really hopeful for Russians. I'm interested in the early war 1914-1915 both West and East fronts. I also enjoy Galicia and the Italian Fronts but don't think I would game it. I know that Brigade Games has some very nice looking Russians in their RCW line, as well as Austrians…but my preference is to stay with one line of miniatures when possible. |

Hi Scarab Miniatures make a range of Austro Hungarians, Italians and Late War French that mix nicely with Great War minis We also stock Great War Minis and various other WW1 related items I personally enjoy gaming the Italian front from 1917 onward as theres lots of army choice and different scenarios from skirmish actions to full on river crossings scarabminiatures.com |
