So with all the new games and kickstarters how much are you usually willing to layout without any qualms.
$65 USD is usually no problem for me,
$100 USD and I'm really wondering, especially if I only get figs for one side or no starter rules
way over $100 USD is usually out for me. Wanted Titanicus but way to much.
How about you?

Someone's going to have to explain to me what a "game" is in a miniatures context. I buy figures. I buy rules. I buy terrain. Sometimes I start new armies or new periods. But the last time I paid money for a "game" as such, I think the box said "Milton Bradley" or "Avalon Hill."

For miniatures for 2 armies, terrain and game rules in a boxed set, $300. USD

If I'm starting a new 28mm army from scratch for a game like 30k, I can put out $1,000 USD easy, though that would be spread out over about 6 months.

A "game" for me would be the rulebook and 2 small starter armies. So, yeah around $100 USD I'd say. Already have plenty of terrain for all the other games I have.

I'd say about $75.00 USD. I've spent more but it was for a friends game. It would depend a lot on what period and the reputation of the company. Not really the way I would approach starting a new period or getting rules.

How much did that FoW set go for?

It depends. Is my wife asking? Then not too much.

If not her, then $200 USD to check out a period and a lot more of I invest in it.

Just don't tell her.

This format doesn't really apeal to me, so $0 USD for this type of thing.

Depends what it is. If I really want it I will pay the going rate. If I think it is not worth the money I let it go by. Couldn't put a set figure on it.

Something new on Kickstarter that grabs my attention, in the past I've gone up to $250. USD More recently, I hold at about $100. USD

About $100 USD is my limit. Depends on whether or not I'm going in with a group ( a bit more) or by myself ($100 limit).

D6, I have never in my life bought a boxed miniatures game.

Mostly, I decide some period/scale combination is interesting or necessary, then scrounge around seeing what I have or can find in a flea market. Then the dealers get brought in for what I can't find, or if I'm in a hurry for something.

Say $50 USD-$100 for 2mm paired armies complete and terrain, maybe twice that in 5/6mm or 1/72. 28mm mostly starts out with me looking at a few nice figures or an attractive box of plastics at a convention and ends with me scrounging for the last two units to play Grant scenarios.

It depends on the game, usually about $500. USD
