I'd like to pick your collective brains.

I'm wanting to get some movement trays for my 54mm figures. Not sure what size – maybe about 8"x6" would do the trick, though a little smaller or a little bigger wouldn't hurt. Wood would be preferable, something I could slap some paint on, with a lip around the edges if we enter "dream come true" territory.

Making them myself is an option, but I have no tools. I'm also lazy. So, can anybody think of a product that might work? Just thought I'd ask!

Warbases. They'll make custom sizes if they don't already list the size you want

Check craft stores for mini blackboards. They have them in various sizes, and are generally edged in wood with a green or black surface.

I second Warbases. I mount my 54mm figures on 1.5 inch fender washers and I bought two kinds of four slot bases, one square, for regular infantry and the amoeba shaped ones for natives. They have really cut down on moving time and wear and tear on my figures. Service was excellent to the States from the UK.

Thank you all! Off to Warbases I go…

Wargames. I've just left an order for movement trays with them at Partizan show last weekend

That should read Warbases. I hate this predictive text.
Warbases are very efficient – gave the order last Sunday and had the prices today
