Can the WGF / Warlord WSS figures be used for the FIW period?

French infantry set would be passable (I know they are the same figures in each box) although they may need new hairstyles. They will look a little old fashioned and maybe too boat-fresh european for the forests though.

They would work perfectly for Queen Anne's War (War of Spanish Succession in North America). They are a little archaic for FIW but what the heck, if you like the figures, just squint a little and they will be okay.

Agreed – with colonial wars you get a lot of leeway!

Thank you for the responses!

I was thinking the WGF/Warlord figures might be passable for some French units in the FIW.

Why not just get the Warlord FIW figures.
