In over 60 years of gaming I think I've played games that included a gunboat maybe 3 or 4 times. It is something I've always wanted to build and there a couple of scenarios which they played a role. The forward gun is a 7.7 (I'm not happy with this and may up arm it if I can find a heavier gun), while the aft gun is a 3.7 pom-pom. I based this model on the Hedwig v. Wessmann from German East Africa (it looks like a gun boat). I had to "scale" it for the table top by taking about 8 inches out of the mid section and increase the beam a little. I hope you find it interesting.
