A blog post on how I made some field boards for my Poltava 1709 battle from Plush Foam sheets from Hobbycraft. It is also the third anniversary for the blog as well as the 150th blog post. So a small celebration of sorts. More on the blog here

Thanks for posting!

I've been thinking about doing something like this myself for small scale naval gaming shore terrain (roughly 1/1200 scale). I didn't know about the plush foam. That's a good idea.

You mounted your fields on MDF, but I'm thinking about cloth backing so I can warp the fields over hills and ridges. Is the plush foam flexible enough to conform to terrain?
