"Seth MacFarlane's loving Star Trek pastiche is sticking around a bit longer. The Orville, a sci-fi spacefaring series set 400 years in the future with a vibe that's heavy on the old-school Roddenberry (with less of MacFarlane's humor than you'd imagine), has been renewed for a third season, Variety reports…" Main page link Amicalement Armand |

Glad to hear it. There were a few clunker eps early in this second season but it picked up steam as time went on. |

Awesome! One of my favorites, even with the "eh' episode from time to time. |

Watched one episode & saw it was a direct ripoff of the original series, never watched again. |

For me, it is the Star Trek that CBS should have done. At the beginning of the second season there were quite a few episodes that were, shall I say, less then stellar but they made of for it in the second half. |

it was a direct ripoff of the original series More of a direct rip-off of TNG than TOS. But it never said it wasn't. It's a comedic homage to ST that's quite entertaining and I for one welcome its return. |
