Hi, I want to create a Late war Budapest 44/ 45 force for the Lardies excellent "Chain of Command". I'm aware Hungary was using German supplied Panthers and even Tiger 1's, what I'm wondering about is the lighter armour vehicle support. Would Hungarian forces still be using the Nimrod AA tank in an infantry support role? I imagine a 40MM Bofors would be quite useful in chewing up infantry in light cover as well as transport!

Also what were the Hungarians using for light armoured recon at this later stage? I'm aware of Warlord's Csaba, but would there still be a few Mk 11a and Mk111 Toldi's knocking around? Or would they even be using a few venerable Pz 38t's?

I'm specifically looking at the Budapest pocket as a guide for the force, and ordering reference material now, but any insights and additional info appreciated for a novice newbie on this campaign.

I would suggest the book" Hungarian Armored Forces in WWII". It is one of the Photosniper series. Full of pictures and charts. Not super detailed as to writing about the battles or the Order of Battles but does give a good idea what was available at the battles the Hungarians were involved in.
