All, Is it possible to by the Union and Confederate forces from Richard Borgs Battle Cry game, without buying the game? I'd like to use them with The Portable Wargame. |

It was at one time, and I did it. But why post here instead of calling the manufacturer? Our opinions are not binding on the maker. Hmmm. I think it's out of print, too, which is likely to complicate matters. |

Robert, thanks I will give that a try. |

I don't suppose you have any unpainted that you would sell? |

Also check out Eagle-Gryphon's minis from The American Civil War. They still have them listed on their store: link They are similar in size and quality to the minis in Napoleon in Europe. |

Not bad, but I prefer the advancing pose of the Battle Cry minis. |

Man, it is impossible to find a phone number that works for Command and Colors, Avalon Hill or Wizards of the Coast! |

Why not just buy some minis and spray paint them? Anything special about the Battle Cry ones? |

No, but I wanted figures in basically the same poses. I decided to go smaller an do the GHQ 10mm. I can still see reasonably well enough to do them justice. |

Sorry nnascati. Gone long ago in the downsizing (and there's still too much left.) Might want to look at Historifigs N's--12mm, cheap, simple and uniform poses. Anyway, when a game is fresh in production, I've had some luck calling their spare/replacement parts office. |
