Hey molesworth, I have popped over to your blog a couple of times, the collection looks great, much more advanced than mine. It was your recent Govorner Generals Bodyguard unit that got me thinkign about what figures I would use, hopefully share more details ont hat later.

I intend to use Black Powder when I have enough units for a decent sized game, need at least another Brigade of Company foot first, in the meantime I did try a Shar Practice game last week which I will post up very soon.

I'm using BP too, and it looks like we've gone for the same unit sizes as well.

Pretty much Colin, the foot in 20's I think is a good fit, I think I have horse in 10s and you have 12s but that hardly makes a difference. Currently mulling over how to do Gurkhas.

Zamburaks are the biggest gap in Sikh armies.

RogerC18 May 2019 7:26 a.m. PST

I was thinking about that the other day. I have a jingle from Empress and will add a gun officer from Foundry, maybe give it a single firing dice and just one range maybe same range as rifles. Foundry do camel mounted zamburaks that could also be used. I amy eventually get a couple of them.

Foundry do a camel gunner in their Indian Mutiny range but if you can get hold of the old Westphalia Miniatures figures, I think Black Hussar do them now, their Persian Napoleonic range has some deployed camel guns that are superb.

Perfik good to know, I have soem Back Hussar stiuff so will check those out.

Murvihil you need to have alook at these, the Persians in Turban with camel guns look to be perfect for the Sikh Wars.
