Because lad they said where they were going and that they are shutting down. Don't have to be on FB to know. I have seen this movie before. |

Hi. If you are talking about ColonialWars, I never said or even hinted that the group is closing down. I just mentioned that it has been quiet. The ColonialWars group is still there, with no plans to shut down. It hasn't GONE anywhere. If you want it to be active, then post to it – nobody can enjoy messages that don't exist. If you don't post, you cannot complain that people go elsewhere. The FB group is just another way for people to communicate. For many FB is popular, For others it is not. If you don't like it, there is no requirement that you join, but there is also no point in complaining about it. If you aren't talking about ColonialWars, then boo to me. |

I think the way in which you announced it made it seem that it was being shut down. Something to the effect that nothing is going on here and I moved all the files to FB. That sure sounds like shutting down the group and moving it to FB. Very cavalier and care free when one considers the implications. There have been other groups which did the same thing and it inevitably leads to the Yahoo Group eventiul failure. The Yahoo Group gets ignored and falls into disrepair. |
