Yeah. I heard about that. People seemed surprised, though, which puzzles me. I read the first three volumes before it became evident Martin wasn't going to finish the books, and it seemed like a perfectly reasonable ending to me. Did she kill people and sack cities in a nicer way on TV? |

Nope and she and her Dragon are going to go out with having the most kills. The individuals most likely to do the deed are: Jon or Arya |

Varys for de kill. The Spider was setting up a poisoning attempt before he was whacked. Bet it goes through. |

Did people see what they thought they saw? Or did something else happen? Dragons have minds of their own and will do whatever they want. |

I hope Arya put The Needle in Dany's eye. She's just another Mad Monarch. My two shillings. Eric |

I just hope they don't kill off everyone, and in the chaos, a mob finds Tyrion and proclaims him King a la I, Claudius. |

From a narrative perspective, the obvious choice would be a reluctant Jon, who then forsakes everything to go back to the wall, picks up the pieces to rebuild it single-handedly so he can sit on top of it moping for the rest of his life. I have a feeling Arya is meant to take out Drogon, probably after one or more good guys bite the dust. Worm, Brienne, Tormund, Bran, Tryion maybe Bronn are among the last candidates on the Deadpool. I'm still rooting for Sansa+Tyrion as king and queen of the North. With anyone left alive to pick up the pieces elsewhere and the last shot is the throne, half melted, rusting among the ruins of King's Landing. |

I wonder about the wildfire explosions that occur during the torching of Kings Landing, not seen it mentioned anywhere else. |

Yup noticed the Green Fire myself but there was not very much of it. |

It was well known that there were caches of wildfire around Kings Landing, I'd assumed that was those caches catching fire so I didn't think much of it. |

Brilliant! Your primary enemy assault asset is a dragon and you have wildfire in the city. Have you suffered a recent head injury? Maybe they should have buried the wildfire outside the gates? At Samar, the escort carriers had napalm bombs in the flight hangers. As soon as they realized they were about to find themselves in a surface fight, they all went over the side. |

The wild fire was from the days of the mad king,he planed on burning the city but was stopped when Jamie killed him. It's just been laying around sience then. |
Mithmee | 15 May 2019 1:23 p.m. PST |
Very likely since the green flames were not that much. |
Earl of the North | 16 May 2019 6:02 a.m. PST |
I don't think those Pyromancer guys have ever stopped producing wildfire, lets not forget that they were able to gather up enough to attack Stannis fleet and then again for Cersei's revenge. |

Perhaps Cersei was looking for a propaganda tool and had planned to burn the city rabble (never very loyal) if she won and blame it on dragons. Or it might have been intended as landmines for defending the red keep once the city walks were pierced. I am sure there will be some sort of rationale raised as to why it was present. |
