Why. Gold robot. Has. Boobs. C-3PO needs a companion? On a more serious note, robots are often sentimental facsimiles of humans. 4 out of the 5 robots in the OP's picture are anthropomorphic. Maybe the one with boobs is made by a scientist in the crude likeness of a loved one who has passed on, like a spouse for example. Though my guess is that it's based on the Maschinenmensch Maria in Fritz Lang's 'Metropolis': link |
