We now reach the final map of the Chain of Command campaign set around Konigsberg in 1945 and the Germans have two chances to capture this and achieve a campaign victory. The Russians have little left to stop them but they are determined to make a stand and prevent a German breakout, but have they got the resources to do it? Lovely looking game, is the front marker for arc of fire for the infantry and tank? Cheers Matt Hercé Salon de Guerre Mayenne, France "Walk the battlefield in the morning, wargame it in the afternoon" |

Lovely looking game, is the front marker for arc of fire for the infantry and tank? They are Overwatch markers and they also show the Overwatch arc of fire (which is narrower than normal arc of fire). |

A really well-written AAR narrative; full of suspense (or dread?) all the way through despite looking like it was only ever going to end one way, which it did. I was pleased your opponent stopped putting his Overwatch marker on top of that lovely Tiger – who's the manufacturer? My vehicles are mainly MMS plus a few SHQ. I cannot wait for your 1940 campaign to start – I shall be interested to see if that involves any armour and how the difficulties of one/two-man turrets play out. Inspirational stuff, thank you. |

LOL, I actually took it off once I realised how bad it was looking in the photos. The Tiger is the Revell kit, which I managed to pick up cheaply in a clearance sale for a hobby shop that was relocating. It's a lovely kit although I'm surprised they didn't do it in zimmerit. I have a mix of vehicles from MMS and Milicast through to plastics like S-Models and Plastic Soldier Company. Glad you enjoyed the campaign and I hope we can provide an equally compelling story for our forthcoming 1940 campaign. |
