Bless all who took part in the rescue. I have been to Benin and Burkina Faso several times and have broken bread with a few French soldiers there. I am now wishing I had made note of who they were. Indeed, the French soldiers in Africa are made of tough stuff! Thanks for thier sacrifice in doing the right things!

We had drinks with French Marines in a little bar one night, in the south of France. Great fellows. Real fun. Doing the same tasks as our troops. God bless them and their families.

My Thanks to all servicemen/women, of whatever nation, who answer their calling and 'do their bit' to make a World that largely does not care, a bit better…maybe at huge cost to themselves and their own.

I, too, salute those brave soldiers.

We work VERY closely with the French in Africa. They are to be applauded.

And they do what they do with a hell of a lot less backing from their population and government than we give our guys. God bless.

I indeed salute them, their families and their comrades.
