Lots of Saxons. Also does anyone know which geographical region each Saxon regiment was recruited from?

Great work. Those white uniforms with white belts etc….must be murder. I do like the variety of poses and you including the pioneer.

The separate bayonet and sabre-briquet…..is that to allow for light infantry regts? Confess I have no idea. Indeed I did wonder if they had flank companies in their line infantry at all?

These are excellent figures. The separate bayonet and sabre briquet are just the way the figures are made. Black Hussar (BH) do separate figures for the light infantry and jagers, each with their own swords. There were grenadier companies which were put into separate battalions on the Austrian model. BH also do these figures with different pattern swords to reflect the reality. Highly recommended.

Agree these are very nice figures – I can also recommend them.

Thanks for that. I am so used to "British" (ie KGL, Hanoverian etc etc) and French having flank Grenadier and Light Companies, in the line regts at least….

Learnt something there. I only have Black Hussar Saxon cavalry, so far. Love them though!

Thanks all!
Found a list of garrison areas for different regiments on Wikipedia, though not certain of reference.

@Markconz Beautifully painted figures! In response to your question, initially the recruitment was from the lands and estates of the Inhaber and soldiers were to serve 20 years and considered 'bondsmen', however, in 1810 the King and his general staff recognised the issues from the old way and changed the recruitment to be nationwide, with a fixed term of 8 and 10 years for cavalry and infantry respectively.

I hope this helps.
