My grandfather sold his desert hovel to a Jawa family, which ticked some of the neighbors off, but it gave him enough money to buy passage offworld for for himself and his family. Fifty years later, the Jawas have bought the whole neighborhood, landscaped and remodeled, and named it — wait for it — Desert Hotel Resort. They changed the v to a t and now they're full of tourists from all over the galaxy, taking tours of old sandcrawlers and riding tame banthas. |
