A blog post about the Swedish tanks I bought, got or converted for the German What-if Invasion of Sweden in 1943. Hope it is of some interest.

Per,

I really like this project, and look forward to seeing more from your build-up of forces. I also look forward to reading the battle reports from the planned 1943 German thrust into Sweden.

For your late war forces, the opposite scenario is even historically feasible. Maybe you have already come across the plans for Operations "Rädda Norge" and "Rädda Danmark"? The Swedish Army had plans to intervene in Norway or Denmark, should:
1) The Germans put up a devastating defence in these areas,
2) or, less altruistic, should the Soviet forces reach Denmark and Norway first, putting Sweden in a difficult strategic situation after the war.

The Swedes could only do one of the two operations, as the air force was only large enough to maintain superiority in one sector. To avoid setting these plans in motion, Sweden informed the Germans about them.

So either sending Swedish forces into Norway, or across the Sound to land at Elsinore. Fielding Strv m/40 or m/41 (known to the rest of the world as the Toldi and the Pz38(t)) as the main battle tank in 1945. That would be awesome.

Please keep it coming.

Very cool! Nice use of an existing range for the infantry. Almost makes me want to do Swedes myself (which I am NOT going to do!).
