With this years Huzzah! 2019 on May 17th to May 19th being the 10th Anniversary of this convention, we thought we'd return to this mini-tourney's roots. We've used Basic Impetus, Impetus 1st edition, Maurice, and Lion Rampant, and this year we're back to Impetus while using the new 2nd edition of the rules.
This tourney is the only event at Huzzah that starts at 10am on Friday, even though it is listed in the 2pm time slot for Friday. It goes through the afternoon, stops in time for dinner, and then players can come back to get in on a Friday evening game at the convention, too.
The particulars …
3 Round Swiss, 12 players max. Registration 10am, rounds 10:30am, 1:00pm, 3:30pm, awards 5:30pm. Impetus 2nd Edition with 25mm or 28mm 300 point army lists from any of the supplements or Beta lists for Ancients to 1066. Bring your army or borrow a friends, a couple loaner armies possible if contacting GM at gamespoet@aol.com prior to the event. Age 12 or under welcome if playing as a team with adult, and please sign up only one person. Remember, this event starts at 10AM!
As of this post, there are 3 players signed up, plus me making 4, which gives us enough folks to move full speed ahead with the mini-tourney, and slots available for 8 others.
Keep in mind that if a player shows up without a 300 point Impetus army, there is no guarantee that there will be an available army. As the listing above states here, and on the website where the tourney is listed, remember to contact me before hand to assure that an army will be available to use, if you don't have one, or otherwise you'll need to bring your own army.

Anyone playing in this friendly mini-tourney needs to sign up for the convention in order to play, and the last day for preregistration is Friday May 10th!
