Last night I wanted a light silly game. We had a birthday in the club so I dusted off "Carpe Cerebra." This is an adaptation of the boardgame "Zombies!!!" from Twilight Creations.

Roman building has unearthed a mass grave! Cursed, the dead arise and attack their fellow citizens in search of Braaiinnnsss. Our story follows 5 plucky gladiators. They have heard Cleopatra has room for just one brave companion on her chariot. the race is on!

Victory last night went to the Zombies, with a big assist from the GM, who forgot a key rule. But cake was consumed, curses hurled and laughs enjoyed by all.

Roman Zombies from The Ghastly Co., Gladiators from Foundry, terrain from Hirst Arts. I made up Roman themed cards to replace the ones in the original game, but other than the "skin" the game is identical.
