Plasmablast Games improves its Progenitors miniature line and has similar plans for Orbital Combine. I hope also to see Marhaf Legion expanded. link |

The perennial question: How tall are the infantry to top of helmet? |
Valderian | 05 May 2019 1:33 p.m. PST |
I will buy some infantry in the near future from them to see exactly. I think scale creep in sci-fi is not that a big problem. My last encounter with this truly problem was with Scotia Grendel and their Japanese infantry for WW2, where from a thematic point of view it can be harder to deal with than in a sci fi context. |

Alackaday, this is where I *am* hoping for scale creep, in moderation. Rackin' frazzin' Steve Jackson and their 9mm infantry for Ogre! And Iron WInd's BattleTech scale creep has pushed all the way up to heroic 10mm and beyond, so they are too big, grrr. |

The thing with BattleTech worries me. I've ordered recently some Davion Infantry from Ral Partha. I hope I will not be forced to use them as battle armor |

Yes, I'm not a big fan of the 9mm OGRE or 10mm BT Infantry. However, if you use them as some sort of Alien Troops next to 6mm. They could work. AFAIK aliens come in all shapes & sizes … |

Angel Barracks had a comparison of their infantry here – TMP link – so, they scale pretty well with others at 6mm exactly. |

This is very interesting and reminds me of: link I will also do a photo like that one in the near future, but with more minis from different companies, because I found it very useful for all of us. And especially since today we have pretty many options. |

Yes, I remember those pics from Tac Cmd. |

Well, Battle Tech was 8mm and the vehicles were bigger and bulkier than micro armour. Ogre on the other hand has no such excuse. |
