I'm pretty sure I've seen posts where someone painted the Army of the Dead figures but didn't paint them ghostly green. I'd like them to look like an undead army, but not a ghost army. Have you seen examples of this? Any links? thanks andy |

I do remember something from years ago but I couldn't find it. Here is a suitable example though. link |

Thanks. I particularly like how it was described as a speed paint. :) We finished another elf / goblin battle, and my friend like the rules (Age of Fantasy by One Page Rules), and I realized I've just got to do another army for some variety. andy |

The speed paint got me as well. I may give his method a try though. I had to look up "zenithal highlights" which uses an airbrush. I would just do the white dry brush over black primer instead. And I think you need to do a couple more armies for variety. |

Yeah, I'm getting tired of elf vs goblin. :) I've just gotten an airbrush, but haven't used it yet. Current plan is priming, base coat, big miniatures and terrain. andy |

Oh, I used to know this one from when I was wondering how the nighthaunt would do alongside the warriors of the dead. This is from Nord's Painting Saga. link
But not a quick paint! and

Those are both great – almost a black cauldron vibe. |
