I went to Michael's today and asked the frame department if they had any scrap framing mat card stock, and she brought me out a box of card stock as well as some foam core. You could also go to a framing store, they might be a little more helpful because they don't sell the materials you are asking for. They also have days that they throw the stuff out if you want to dumpster dive. |

We get all our framing done at a local store, after asking a couple of years ago if they had any offcuts or scrap which they did not need I was given a big bag of offcut card. On subsequent visits I have not needed to ask and they just bag up what is around their workbenches and give it to me. |
