Crusader Miniatures have had a small range of 28mm metal ACW figures for some time, but this year have expanded it quite a bit.
The latest additions can be seen here:

Crusader Miniatures sell the ACW figures as units as well, and you can make up a unit from the new releases:

There's more to come in the range too, you can follow the Crusader Miniatures releases by signing upto the newsletter: link

I have always thought these were nice. My fear, though, is that they are very large compared to other ranges like Perry and Barber figures and even Sash and Saber.

Nick – have you put these side by side with other ranges?

These are very. Nice! Has anyone done a side by side comparison to Foundry or Perry figures?

Hi
I don't do side by sides, as a business it could a minefield. One company might be offended you've used their figures to compare to yours, another might be offended you DIDN'T use theirs. LOL

It's for hobbyists to do that I think.

As a Hobbyist, I've got Perry officers, cavalry and gun crews in my army, and a number old Perry made figures with my infantry.
This is a picture of them close by each other:

Great looking army Nick.

Just ordered some more to go with my existing Foundry and Perry figures.

@ ccmatty & Rdraf – I use Foundry, Perry and Crusader figures in the same units without any noticeable size or anotomical issues.

In my view Crusader are really easy to paint as they have a really smooth finish and clean castings.

Just ordered the Crusader ACW Marines unit. Plus it's on sale. Christmas gift to myself for not being too naughty.

And I agree, the Crusader figures mix well and are a joy to paint .
