I'm still plowing through the Irish focus rehash of BLB 3 trying to make sense of it all and apply it to the era that matters to me, the War of the Spanish Succession. My group just spent 4 consecutive weekends using BLB 3 to re-fight the southern half of Ramillies trying to disentangle what matters from what doesn't. Now we are asked to travel from the bogs to the plains of Eastern Europe and Scandinavia to ascertain the Truth of it all.I'd have much preferred a core book with supplements for GNW, Ireland and the East.

BLB3 is the core rules, it only has a flavour of the war in Ireland, all the rules are there for Flanders in the 17th century or WSS.
Just as BLB2 had a flavour of Flanders in the 1790s.

I will be using BLB2 for battles set in Flanders and would appreciate a few scenarios being put up on the LoA Forum, two or three would be nice, together with some advice on designing balanced scenarios for the period.

I would love to do that DHautpol and have the material to provide what you are looking for. My biggest limitation is time unfortunately. Wargaming was a hobby, now it has turned into a business but it is not my main job. That requires me to be away from base most weeks hence – the log jam. Keep looking, scenarios will appear on the blog in fact stuff is in the pipe now. Glass half full!

I can imagine that it has become a bit hectic, particularly following the launch of your Warfare Miniatures ranges.

I will keep my eyes open on the blog and, in the meantime, have a look through CS Grant's Scenarios book to see which ones can be adapted.
