I currently have a decent sized British force and now have some French in the lead pile to paint.

A friend and I have only played Sharp Practicce in period so far. With the announcement of the new Black Powder supplement I would like to expand my collection a bit.

What other models are out there that people like. My Brits are currently composed of Warlord/Conquest and Galloping Major. I like both lines, but don't necessarily scale the best together.

Wondering what other lines people like? A local store carries AW and I have seen Sash and Saber online. Have no experience with either for scaling with what I have.

You can see my current collection here:

Thanks

I mix and match all different brands for maximum pose variety and different sized people. For my tastes, a large mix in a skirmish game looks great. Currently including:

Conquest/Warlord
Fife & Drum (civilians)
Front Rank
Galloping Major
Irregular
Old Glory
Outpost
Perry (Highlanders)
Redoubt
Wasatch/Gajo

Sash & Saber, new line from Kickstarter shipping very shortly.

I have Foundry, Old Glory, Dixon and Front Rank minis – Ilike the Dixons even though they do have big heads (especially the Rogers Rangers)

Thanks, several options to explore.

Totally forgot about OG and a majority of my AWI forces are OG.

I guess when I was building this force originally I was looking for smaller quantities for skirmish level and OG tends to be 30 packs with limited poses.

Galloping Major has a very nice line with lots variations and troops.

I got a bag of the OG Indians with bows; then replaced the spaghetti lead bows with brass wire and was able to tweak the pose variety a bit more with slight variations during that process.
