"China will show off new warships including nuclear submarines and destroyers at a parade next week marking 70 years since its navy's founding, a senior commander said on Saturday, as Beijing flexes its increasingly well-equipped military muscle. President Xi Jinping is overseeing a sweeping plan to refurbish the People's Liberation Army (PLA) by developing everything from stealth jets to aircraft carriers as China ramps up its presence in the South China Sea and around self-ruled Taiwan. The navy has been a key beneficiary of the modernization plan as China looks to project power far from the country's shores and protect its trading routes and citizens overseas…."

Interesting. Always good to keep up to date on enemy weapons systems. Hmmmm, how come China and Russia can have military parades, but we can't? I'll bet ours would be rather impressive too, even virtual ones shown on TV. Perhaps someone should propose the latter to the US government. Oh, looks like I just did – you are welcome US DOD and NSA (I know you're reading this). |

Great finds! I like the Easter stuff as well as the Halloween stuff. Plastic eggs and candy containers work out well. I think those would also make some nice parade balloons … mb I can find some here … |
