How many cavalry regiments were there at the time of the 3rd Carlist war 1872-76 ?
Hussars, cazadores, lancers and dragoons.

No Dragoons c.1872

2 Coraceros/Cuirassiers
2 Carabineros/Carabiniers (the name was also given to an other corps : Carabineros del Reino – Customs soldiers)
