A bizarre line of figures.

Legion 420 Apr 2019 9:08 a.m. PST

"Al ist Clar Herr Commissar?" huh?

Oberlindes Sol LIC20 Apr 2019 9:29 a.m. PST

@Legion 4: I think you mean "Alles klar, Frau Kommissar?", which means, "everything OK, Madam Commissar?"

The sword is too big, but the pistol is plausible. Not bad overall.

Yeah … my German is a bit rusty. I left (West) Germany in like '87 or '88. old fart

But IIRC there was an old pop song, from the '80s, that had the line notes "Alles klar, Herr Commissar ? " notes

I kind of liked it ! grin

Yes, that was a song, Der Kommissar by an Austrian group called Falco:

Yep that's it !!!! I also liked that one song released about at the same time, IIRC … 99 Red Balloons. I think there was a version in (West)German and then in English. thumbs up

The English version sucked.

The German version is good, though. It's called Neun-und-neunzig Luftballons, by Nena, released in the early 1980s:
