It is, but was probably far better in this chap's native language, Portuguese. The content is actually very good, the presentation poor.

The publishers are then to blame for not proofreading/editing this. I will understand the idea of French heavy cavalry using spears and spontoons, I will forgive the repeated reference to shotgun wounds and the many spelling mistakes. However there are places where the text descends into random chaos.


Yet it is a good read. Thanks

Yes, interesting read. But Liam is correct, the writers unfamiliarity with weapons of the period is just bad research. Most of the images I've seen before.
