Two things are way too big on this miniature: her ears, and that sword. I'm fine with the Under-Armored mid-section. |

Those ears are rather large. Head seems to be a little too small for the body, too, IMHO. She has a cute face though. |

I like everything about this miniature, from her ears right down to her boots. Those moderate heels are good for riding a horse. The sword is two-handed and of an appropriate width, so that it doesn't look too heavy for her to use. She can keep control of her horse with her legs and the weight of her body while using both hands on the sword. I'm sure her horse is as well trained for combat as the Roman cavalry horses were, and doesn't need reins to know what to do. The armor is not completely goofy, and I give it the benefit of the doubt and conclude that it is actually more decorative than functional. Maybe it's her insignia of unit and rank. The rough proportion guide for humans is that total height is about 8 heads, and my rough measurement finds her to be about that. The sculpting is excellent. She's actually a very believable figure as a human female -- except for those amazing ears. I'm sure her ears are specific to her ethnic group of elves. I'm glad that she didn't give in to peer pressure in her youth and have then done so that she'd look like every other female elf. If they'll make a version of her in 25 or 28mm, I will happily make her the first member of my Darrian team for Traveller. This version will be her dress uniform, I think. I'm going to be using old GW Space Marines (with beaks) for Darrians in TL 16 battle dress. |

Yeah but I am still waiting for him to send a order from Nov 2018 and I am not the only one. Plus he has not responded to inquires. This is a nice figure but not sure if I can deal with companies like this |

Elves need not have pointy ears, that is a modern trope. Even Tolkien doesn't mention pointy ears. I think the voluptuousness of the figure is fun but it's in defiance of the word "elfin" in common use. It certainly is a fig to fuel a 14 year old boy or perhaps an 65 year old, graybeard, has-been's fantasy. |

I had to cringe when riding a horse with the appropriate boots was mentioned. In that metal g-string and no leg coverings, she is going to be one sore lady after only a few miles, that and the fact that a two-handed sword is not a weapon used mounted. She is also going to have real problems wielding that two-handed sword with her double-D chest. |

I was amused about the Jerry Garcia comment (RIP) (PBUH). Surely, as a UK Dead fan who only only saw them both times they came here (OK there was a third time, but I missed that due to a massive dispute who would come with me..as I only had two tickets and it ended in an expensive divorce two years later anyway) |
