I've just finished my pack of Deathsworn. I really like these models. They are the only Forge World Rout models that have grabbed me besides Russ and his wolves themselves.

They are sort of like Destroyers in any other legion, except they have slightly different weapons. They didn't come with jump packs and I'm not sure if that is an option for them.

The armour is black but has enough little details and jangly bits to keep painting them interesting without being too much. The set comes with two extra arms so that you can have two of them throwing their little static bombs or not. I chose to use them and will probably use the extra arms on a squad of Grey Slayers using MK III armour.

Where are their tails? Vargr battle dress has to have an articulated, armored tail. It's very important for balance, especially in zero-G combat!

Also their legs don't seem to shaped quite right.

Really? …

@Pictors: I think your Deathsworn look great.
I really don't understand Oberlindes' negative comments.

Probably just the bug.

Thanks for the kind words everyone. I'm looking forward to getting them into their first battle. Eventually I think I'll do a full squad of 10 with a huscarl who is armed with a power fist.

I'll probably even get them a land raider too and paint it black like them with all kinds of runes on it in a contrasting bone colour.

Bug? Unlikely.

Vargr are wolf types linked to Fenrir in Norse mythology. Where space Wolves come from.

I think there may be some confusion as to who the deathsworn are.

They are not wolfmen, at least not physically. They ware wolf skull helmets (no pun intended). It's not their actual head.

Sorry -- I didn't intend to make negative comments. I was just wishing for 25mm Traveller Vargr in battle dress, and these miniatures won't work, as cool as they are.

Victoria Miniatures makes beastman legs, you might be able to kitbash them together to get what you need.

Worth a look -- thanks.
