The desert Coloumn:

1/72 plastics and some 20mm metals;

Organized for Hordes of The Things (HOTT) rules. Left shiny for the 'toy soldier' look.

Why HotT?

I'm not a 'historical accuracy' enthusiast with respect to fighting battles, I'm merely out to be entertained.

a) The rules are simple and straightforward.
b) The plethora of troop types on both sides, i.e. rifles, artillery, machine guns, cavalry versus spears, swords, rifles and cavalry allows a fantasy rule set to easily cover the ground

House rules cover things like:
casualty tracking
morale
mods to troop specs.
