After I finish my Russian army I am going to probably do small units like this

What a superb blog. The scenic photos are superb and the models…they must be 1/72, as they are not the Hobbits of 28mm. As 14Bore said, much to be said for doing small "obscure" units like this. I have slightly run out of inspiration right now frankly.

Hello Mr D.

I met Koppi st the Dioramica last year, a nice chap.

The figures are of course in the one true scale which our Germsn friends excel at.

Best wishes,

Chris

In 1813, there was a Mecklinburg-Strelitz Hussars as part of the Prussian 2nd Brigade (under brigade commander Oberst Karl Herzog von Mecklenburg-Strelitz), of the Prussian 1st Korps (Generalleutnant von Yorck), which was part of the Allied Army of Silesia (General der Kavallerie von Blücher).

It appears that this was a different formation than the one described in the original post.
