I painted up a platoon (with support) of Cape Town Highlanders for a clubmate. The bulk of the platoon is from a company I had never Heard of, Wargamers' Homestead, though I had to convert some extras using Warlord Games' new 8th army plastic box. Overall an unusual topic for me, but it ended up being a blast to paint. More pics and text on the blog, but here's a sample. :) link

Beautiful paint job, the figures are quite good too. The helmets seem a little Rounder on top, much like a bowler hat, with a smaller brim then British soldiers.. Is this a South African style helmet? |
