They look excellent. I wonder what next – artillery?

Glad you like them my friend!. (smile)

They do look nice, but being plastic and so expensive makes me want to look elsewhere…

Now, if the new plastic sets were the same prices as the Greeks they made, then it may be different, but they are not.

Any pics of the sprues online?

Those horses ears are terrible

Never noticed the ears until you wrote that!

As someone who has owned horses, I've never seen a horse with ears like that…

(not to mention the sharp angle at the end/top of the nose …)

The size is good, though. These are officers so they could have the biggest and strongest and best bred so they would be a bit taller than average run of the mill horses. Mind you, they still didn't have stirrups so they have to be low enough to literally jump on.

The ears allow moulding in a two part mould. Being plastic should be easy to dice and slice to suit

I first noticed it on the Gaul cavalry, and pointed it out to them, but no change.

They may be easy to cut off, but an horse without ears is going to look even sillier!

Maybe one could pretend they are horns and it's some type of fantasy steed …

Perhaps cut one off and put it on the forehead as an unicorn horn while one is at it. ;)

The plastic horses by Gripping Beast, Perry, Fireforge, Conquest Games do not have spike ears, do they?
