Greetings, I'm speaking of the Horus Heresy period MKIV squad boxed set. The same minis that came with the Calth boxed set. Throughout 2017 and '18 I could routinely get these on Ebay for $35 USD-39 and on Amazon for $45 USD (as compared to $50 USD from GW). I just recently restarted my HH project and can no longer find the complete sets anywhere. Bits are still fairly easy to find on Ebay UK but the markup is pretty steep per squad. I was wondering if anyone had a source for them for under $50 USD that they would be willing to share? I think I'm down to only needin about 5 or 6 boxes at this time. Cheers. UK. |

MR. Nice Guy Games in Monroeville PA had a copy of BaC about a month ago. That gets you three sets for $50 USD each but also gets you the contemptor, terminators and characters if you have any use for them. I get mine from my FLGS. |

If you don't want the Contemptor dreads, Cataphracti termies and characters, you can still get the MkIV marines in this EBay listing. Just specify what it is that you want. auction |

Yeah, all I need is the MKIVs at this point. I don't need anything else from the BAC box. Thanks guys. |

The MKIV Space Marine set is webstore exclusive. That means it is only available through GW's online store. |

Keith, I was getting them from an eBay seller for about a year. It's not likely he took them from Calth sets as he had over "50" in his stock at one point. I ended up picking up 8 from him at $35.99 USD each. I'm not sure how he had access to them for so long but he's out now. I don't mind getting them from GW it's just that I'm starting a new 30k army that's slated to have 130 infantry all in MKIV. For that many boxes I was hoping to find a discount. Luckily I'm starting the project with almost 50 MKIV's already in my possession in bits left over from my last project. I was smart and bought one of the 20 man jump sets and some of the heavy weapon marine sets when they were in stock at FW too. As an aside for anyone getting into HH MKIII armour squads are still fairly easy to get on Ebay or Amazon so that might be an easier way to go for your army. I'm doing MKIV for Thousand Sons MKIII for Wolves if everything goes according to plan this year. |

I did the opposite for most of mine. My Thousand sons are mostly MKIII. The Rout vets are MKIII but the grey slayers are all MKIV. My death sworn are MKIII but that is how they make them. |

Another way to do it on the cheap is to just get the MkIV heads since the bodies and weapons of most pre-heresy 30K marines and even 40K marines are interchangeable anyway. auction Also, Primaris helmets would also work because they're virtually identical to the MkIV pattern. link And the Ebay link from my post yesterday may be an unauthorized foreign recaster, so buy at your own discretion. |
