So that's Salute over for another year. I've seen posts elsewhere that are very critical but on the whole I thought it was another excellent show. Thanks as always to the South London Warlords for what must be a massive piece of work putting it all together and trying to keep everyone happy.

My thoughts and photos can be found here…

Nice looking games. I too read some negative comments here on TMP, but many more positive ones…

Thanks for posting

I enjoyed Salute (my 29th I think) and thought it was a good one.

Lighting was 'ok' (although I did leave a couple of times to get away for a few minutes).

I've not noticed the flooring issues the last couple of years.

I like Excel as a venue, I prefer it to the previous venues. I know it is expensive to park at, but I was there for about 7 hours, so, that is under £3.00 GBP an hour, not unreasonable these days I think. Especially if you add the costs of the parking with entrance and £30.00 GBP for a days entertainment doesn't seem bad. Especially when you think of the money we happily spend on our lead addiction…

I'd say, well done to the Warlords and to those who spent months to put on games for our entertainment..
