So I've worked with about 50 of the Resin shoulder pads so far and when it comes to removing the gates I'm averaging damaging one out of every ten.

The pads are so delicate that any damage to them renders them useless. I couldn't find any instructional videos on their removal so I thought I'd seek your advice.

Right now I'm using metal clippers to cut the gate off well above the shoulder pads then I'm sanding down the remaining gate bits. As I said, This works fine about 9 out of 10 times. That wouldn't be a problem if the resin weren't so expensive.

So if you've had more success please let me know what you're doing.

Cheers.

Best advice I have is to snip the post off above it and then use a very sharp x-acto blade to cut it off at the pad.
