A few of us are looking at Rebels and Patriots. Each player runs an officer and about 50 figures, kind of company level. Have not yet played it, though. Osprey games.

We've played R&P for the ACW and enjoyed it. It's a fun game. However, for a bit more "realism" (and I fully realize what a loaded description that is) I'd also suggest Sharpe's Practice. Also great fun, and a bit more thinking involved.

Brother Versus Brother, old but good and simple.

We use and enjoy ‘61-65' Rules from Ganesha games…

"Advance the Colors", an ACW skirmish rule set. It is designed for Company to Regiment sized battles.

Helped develop "The Sword and Secession" rules. Nice, fun game, especially if you are already familiar with "The Sword and the Flame."
