Apart from a couple of passing references and regardless of there being things like the Churchill AVRE which were made to break them, there appears to be no guide as to how to do it in the main rules. In terms of how many hits or the effect on those in occupation. Etc.

Now obviously not all bunkers were created equal nor indeed were the methods of busting them, so ducking the issue makes sense from a writers point of view, which leads one to assume it's down to players?

If so, any examples from more experienced CoC players would be appreciated.

Trajanus,

At the bottom of p. 10, it says bunkers are basically hard cover and provide all around protection.

This is further explained under light mortars (p. 36) bunkers are unaffected. Also on p.38, under roll for effect, it says that troops in bunkers ignore the first kill in any Phase.

You might also look at pp. 24-25 of the 1940 Handbook which adds "fortifications" as a class of well prepared defenses (you can only cause shock it the unit also causes a kill that phase). Weapons that reduce cover have fortifications counted as bunkers (above).

I hope this is helpful.

As well as above checkout the Lardies Summer 2017 Special it has a mini campaign set around the battle on the Siegfried line and includes extra bunker rules.
