That looks a really good project.

Love the sketch of who was where. Quite something.

Is there water in there somewhere?

I had no idea they had four 6-pdr anti-tank guns there at the bridge.

Skarper02 Apr 2019 1:17 a.m. PST

Looking into the balance of forces the Arnhem end of the bridge was firmly held on Monday 18th and the German attacks had no realistic chance until German reinforcements and attrition of the defenders swung the balance and gave Frost's men no chance to hang on.

This wasn't known to the commanders on the ground at the time of course.

"I had no idea they had four 6-pdr anti-tank guns there at the bridge."

One of the guns knocked out seven halftracks on its own (hence the V shaped hole in the bridge wall).

That sketch looks awfully like the artwork in the Osprey Arnhem Campaign book.

Those 6-pdr have only narrow avenues of fire. I thought there was at least one down the road a ways looking up the bridge ramp.

If there is one thing I've learned playing Combat Mission, it is that AT guns work best with keyhole LOS:)

Mobius04 Apr 2019 6:39 a.m. PST

What I learned playing Arnhem Bridge is the girders should be removable to be able to access models on the bridge.

There is another map with different AT gun placement.
