Taiwan is crazy rich and will have no problem paying the high prices of US arms. What's been keeping them from modernizing in the past was political pressure from the mainland and US reluctance to anger Beijing.

However, the current administration has been much less sensitive to Chinese pressure and Taiwan is taking advantage. Maybe they should ask for F-35's instead.

Let them buy US arms! More jobs! China has been using NK to achieve their goals, let us use Taiwan for ours.
