Here are some pics of two different Blood Angel armies from the hands of the painters at Forge World.

picture

This army looks like it is built mostly for speed, with land speeders and the two mandatory troop choices being assault squads with jump packs.

Not that the Sicarian in there isn't going to solve some problems too, mind you.

And of course the Terminator command squad is also an anvil to the hammer of much of the rest of the force.

Even the characters, except the Praetor, have been given jump packs to keep up with the majority of the troops.

That moritat is going to be fire blowing through units with a plasma pistol in one hand and inferno pistol in the other. With the chain fire rule he could cook off a whole unit of space marines in a turn, even terminators.

The other force packs more of a wallop at a distance, but still has two squads of assault marines at its core.

I think I count 18 lascannons in that army, all of them probably twin-linked so 9 with re-rolls. That is a lot of S9 AP 2 fire coming your way.

Never mind the Legion support squad with 10 plasma guns and five lightning claw armed terminators to keep them safe.

Malevolence is being delivered now to people who pre-ordered it at the FW open days. It isn't on my immediate buying list, as I'm anticipating spending a lot on Slaanesh soon, but it has a daemon list so . . .

I'm digging that Praetor.
